I got this for my father for his birthday and he was so impressed with the craftsmanship. Perfect gift for a UMaine hockey fan !
When I received my board it was everything I expected. My only question was how the stain on the sides was splotchy. Is this what it supposed to look like? I would have thought it to be all stained or not stained on the side at all.
Thank you so much for your review! I am glad the board was everything you expected. There is no stain on the sides at all. Each layer is laser cut and has char on the edges so once I laminate it together I sand it even before I seal it. What you are seeing is the sanded wood, I hope this answers your question.
My husband loves cribbage so when I saw the UMaine hockey board (we are season ticket holders to the UMaine hockey games)- I knew it would make a perfect gift!!!
